KAMBETON, with over 36-years of experience in manufacturing prefabricated concrete, is a leading company of its sector that focuses on quality and trust and offers a full service from design to installation processes.

 

Zeki BAYKAM started out the company as a contractor in 1978 with the production and marketing of precast fence posts. First established as "Kam İnşaat ve Beton Sanayi Kollektif Şirketi" in 1980, the company was later restructured as "Kambeton Limited Şirketi" in 1992. On January 1st of 2014, the company announced its final restructuring as "Kambeton Anonim Şirketi".

 

KAMBETON produces more than 3,000 precast concrete products; including superstructure elements, pre-stressed bridging joists, infrastructure elements, centrifugal electric poles,  paving stones, curb stones and other landscape elements such as street furniture, fence posts, panel walls, boundary wall elements such as Betoblok and Betocast and customized productions such as high quality hollow floor and bleacher stairs. It has two plants that are located in Adana and Nizip, Gaziantep with a total area of 240.000 m2.

 

By contributing to the  growth of prefabricated concrete sector in the region and in all innovations regarding industrial structures, KAMBETON has become a trusted business partner of the industrialists. The company is a member of Turkish Precast Concrete Association and is accredited with "TSE K 118 Precast Concrete Construction Elements Quality Management System Certificate", "K-Q TSE-ISO-EN-9000 Quality Management System Certificate" and "QNET ISO 9001:2008 IQNET Quality Management System Certificate".

"Being Reliable"

Kambeton cherishes this principle and makes sure that it is not harmed or impaired. Hence, its clients do not doubt that the promises will be kept and they will receive products & services of high quality. They know that they are not exposed to the risk of making a payment but not receiving any service in return in the future. A client who paid for fence poles in 1997 and picked them up in 2012 is the best testimony of this principle. Kambeton's business partners know that they will receive payments of products sold and services offered; they do not hesitate to work on credit account basis. Kambeton employees work hard to keep their promises since they know that long lasting relationships are built on trust.

"Being Fair"

Kambeton protects its interests but it also consents to whatever it is entitled to; it does not claim anything it does not deserve. It submits the same offer to all clients participating to a tender and compensates damages suffered by clients due to defects attributable to Kambeton. It makes objective decisions about new circumstances emerging after contracts. The business partners know that Kambeton will not use its power only for securing its interests. Kambeton tries to properly reflect level of employee contribution to the promotion and wage system. The company does not tolerate discrimination; it tries and proves to be fair.

1978 - Zeki BAYKAM started out as a contractor by establishing a private company.

 

1980 – Established ‘Kam İnşaat ve Beton Sanayi Kollektif Şirketi' in Adana. The company started its operations by producing and marketing precast fence posts.

 

1987 – Established a facility required for energy transmission line components to be produced using centrifuge technology.

 

1987- Established Group Company Bema Makine Sanayi ve Ticaret Ltd. Şti. for supplying mold and machine requirements of Kambeton, supplying necessary instruments and also providing maintenance and repair works.

 

1992 – Organizational restructuring; the company changed its title to "Kambeton Limited Şirketi".

 

1993 – Established turnkey construction contracting company Baykon İnşaat ve Endüstri A.Ş.

 

1994 – Kambeton became a member of Turkish Precast Concrete Association.

 

1996 – The company received "ISO 9001 Quality Management System Certificate" as one of the first companies receiving this certificate in Turkey in the field of concrete and reinforced concrete production.

 

1999 – Kambeton moved to its new facilities located in Adana at İncirlik Kavşağı.

 

2000 – Established the second production facility in Gaziantep, Nizip. The facility started by building 38-meters long prestressed bridging joists that weigh 160 tons for Fırat Viaduct.

 

2005 – Teknopak Ambalaj Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., a company from the packagingsector, joined the Group Companies.

 

2008 – Kambeton became the largest facility of its sector in Turkey by expanding to a total area of 240.000 m2.

 

2012 – Awarded with "TSE K 118 Precast Concrete Construction Elements – Quality Management System Certificate" jointly offered by the Turkish Standards Institute and Turkish Precast Concrete Association.

 

2012 – Awarded with ‘IQNET Quality Management System Certificate'.

 

2013 – Kambeton, a leading corporation of industrial buildings sector, constructed Kipaş Kağıt Sanayi İşletmeleri in Kahramanmaraş / Türkoğlu / Kıllı which is the Turkey's largest and Europe's 4th largest paper production facility.

 

2013 – Real Estate Development Project started in September

 

2014 – The company changed its legal status and the new joint stock corporation is called "Kambeton Anonim Şirketi".

 

 2014 – Created ‘Betoblok' brand.

 

2015 – Established world class "hollow coreslab" production facility.

 

2015 – Created 'Betocast' brand.

 With four concrete plants in Adana and a central plant in Nizip, Kambeton offers over 3000 products for superstructure, infrastructure, landscaping, border and wall systems and energy categories. Over the last 35 years, Kambeton has manufactured and assembled more than one thousand superstructures and bridging joists, supplied poles to energy lines all around the country, and designed and manufactured many other products used for infrastructure and landscaping projects of the region.

Kambeton has also designed numerous custom made products based on customer demands. Bema Machine, a group company, provides Kambeton high-quality molds required for all kinds of projects. With a design team of highly-experienced engineers and architects and a production team of over 400 members, Kambeton is able to come up with cost effective, practical, fast and high-quality solutions for any project. 

Kambeton designs turnkey projects on well-situated industrial lands owned by the company targeted to industrialists who does not own land for their investments. Kambeton has lands that can be developed for small industrial workshops, heavy industry facilities and warehouses.

Kambeton offers project design assistance on lots that fit investor's requirements and leverages its expertise in prefabricated concrete construction to achieve fast and cost effective buildings.

KAMBETON also offers reliable service in logistics given its expertise in transporting large and heavy products. Since 2010, the company has been successfully carrying cargo up to 40 meters throughout the day by complying with the legal requirements. To ensure that the transportation is carried out safely, all necessary permissions and documentation is prepared by Kambeton.

1. PREFABRICATED SOLAR WALL PANEL

 

The project supported by KOSGEB (Small and Medium Industry Development Organization) enables indoor climatization by capturing solar energy through the use of precast wall panels and storing/releasing this energy when necessary and thus saves on energy used for heating and cooling prefabricated buildings. If desired, the wall panels can be customized with decorative surfaces.

 

2. PREFABRICATED WALL PANEL WITH THERMAL ENERGY STORAGE PROJECT

 

This is a 3-year project jointly carried on by Çukurova, Erciyes and Niğde Universities and Kambeton A.Ş. The project will be completed by the end of 2015 and it will help saving on energy used for heating and cooling through thermal energy storage on all kinds of building elements receiving sunlight.  

 

3. REACTIVE POWDER CONCRETE

 

RPC concrete is able to reach very high values, such as 130 MPa of compressive resistance and 20 MPa of tensile strength and makes it possible to design and produce concrete elements with extra thin sections.

KAMBETON, acting with sense of corporate responsibility, prioritizes investing in sustainable social responsibility projects that have the goal of improving quality of life in our region and country as well as achieving permanent benefits for the community.

 

Concrete, as a production material, is an ecologic and environment friendly material made up of natural materials such as aggregate, sand and cement.  KAMBETON tries to create clean and safe construction sites free from waste materials. Prefabricated concrete requires minimum maintenance during its long lifecycle and does not require taking chemical measures; thus it creates healthy environments that eliminate elements causing air pollution.  

 

KAMBETON continues to organize activities for fulfilling its responsibilities towards our community, especially in areas such as environment, education, culture & art and sports.

KAMBETON designed a skateboard ramp for keeping the young skaters of Adana,  away from dangerous roads and sidewalks as well as offering a cozy and fun environment for skateboarding. The ramp wasdonated to Seyhan Municipality during the Orange Blossom Carnival celebrated annually. The ramp located at Yaşar Kemal Cultural Center Park of Seyhan Municipality continues to offer an exciting carnival experience with the enthusiastic young skaters.

RECRUITMENT PROCESS

 

Recruitment;

 

Newly graduated candidates can visit our website and;

  • Apply between the dates of November 1st – December 31st.
  • Interviews will be held between the dates of January 2nd – February 20th.
  • Executive Candidates will start working on March 1st.

 

Internship / Orientation;

 

An MT candidate will attend an orientation to thoroughly learn every part of the operational process at our Company based on the following schedule:

3 months in Project Management Department (Project Administration and Installation Administration),

3 months in Production Management Department (Production and Quality Control Administrations),

3 months in Sales – Marketing Department

 

Appointment and Career Planning;

 

The candidates will have a chance to learn about the company and select the department they want to work for during the 9-month orientation schedule.

The candidates proved to be eligible for a position will have the chance of working at a department of their choice and work in a field they want to specialize in.

The MT program, gives our employees a chance to start their career at a department of their choice and do the job they love.

University students who want to have a summer internship should apply between the dates of April 20th and May 5th. The interviews will be between the dates of May 15th – June 1st. The evaluations will be based on their desire to build a career in this sector and their teamwork capabilities.

The internship program offered to university students during summer is planned as three different periods; June, July and August.

The internship program teaches theoretical and practical aspects of the sector to our students as well as explains principles of business life and work life.

Students who successfully complete the internship and achieve high performance are offered a full time opportunity to work for our Company.

 

Vocational Training Internship for Vocational High School Students;

 

Our company offers internship opportunities to a number of vocational high school students every year, as required under the Vocational Training Law numbered 3308.

The internship applications should be filed between the dates of April 20th and May 15th. The evaluation process will continue until June 1st and the admission will not be possible after June 1st.

This internship program improves professional knowledge and skills of students as well as prepares them for working life.
